About Us
My story is one many of you can relate to, especially if you are a Busy Parent. About six years ago my world was turned upside down because both my husband and I had to be out of town. My parents were going to care for our two little boys, ages one and three. Leaving them in the care of someone else, even my trusted mother and father, was a concern. So I wrote down everything I could think of to cover every possible situation, from schedules to emergency contacts to medical information.
As my notes grew, I realized that what I was looking at was a pre-defined checklist that my parents could follow while we were away. My checklist evolved into a Guide of important information…For Busy Parents™.
So that’s how For Busy Parents™ was born and the mission of Family Resource Guides, LLC came into focus: by creating Guides for Keeping Your World Together™.
We hope that The Infant and Toddler Guide For Busy Parents™ and the new Guides in development for other aspects of your hectic lives give you as much peace of mind as they have our families. We have done the thinking for you. All you need to do is collect the information that applies to your children. Then you can relax with the knowledge that you are Keeping Your World Together™.

Sheila has spent her entire career in healthcare and currently works for a large biotech company specializing in the field of pediatrics. While her current career is very rewarding, her family is her real passion. She lives to make them happy and keep them safe, as do most busy parents. Her career in healthcare, combined with her Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from The American University in Washington D.C., have given her the unique experience and background to launch For Busy Parents™, The Series. Sheila is excited about sharing the guides that she created for her own family. It is her hope that any parents dealing with the daily stresses and worries of keeping a family organized will find them as helpful and necessary as she has. She resides in New Albany, Ohio with her husband Dale and their two children, Nathan and Jonathan, and their dog Buckeye. |

Lisa has 15-plus years of marketing experience in consumer products covering various industries and categories. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a BS in Business Administration, Marketing. Recently she started her own marketing/business consulting business (inSOLUTIONS marketing consultants, llc) that targets entrepreneurs such as Sheila. Now she has the privilege of being part of a company that provides products to give Busy Parents peace of mind. Lisa lives by the motto “life is a journey, not a destination” and craves new challenges both personally and professionally. |

Sally earned a BA in Journalism from The Ohio State University and is now a freelance editor and writer. Previously, she spent 20 years in communication for the Information Technology Office at OSU. She enjoys yoga, gardening, and volunteering in the community in her spare time, and lives in Columbus, OH with a housemate and two cats, Hannah and Alex. |

Margo has 35+ years of illustration and design experience, with 28 years at The Ohio State University. She earned an Associates' Degree in design and worked towards a combined BFA in Painting, Photography, and Musicology at the University of New Mexico. She mounted 2 photographic exhibits at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center and performed print and set design and fabrication for Actors' Summer Theatre, Columbus, Ohio. She and her husband, Robert, live on acreage in rural Logan County, Ohio, with their five cats. Upon retirement, she and her husband plan to adopt and foster rescue collies. In her spare time, Margo enjoys photography, drawing, mosaics, music (Medieval through Baroque, World Music, jazz), and cooking. |

Dale has been in healthcare for the majority of his professional career, working with many industry leaders, such as Johnson and Johnson, United HealthCare, and AstraZeneca. He earned a BS in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Franklin University. His career has required him to travel extensively, so he knows firsthand the stress that comes from altered plans and delayed or cancelled flights. Having a completed organizer such as the Infant and Toddler Guide for Busy Parents™ to turn over to caretakers during an absence has given him peace of mind and can do the same for rushed moms and dads everywhere. That’s why Dale is excited to be joining the team as the Director of Business Development. The products created by Family Resource Guides, LLC help families organize all of their important information. Dale is married to Sheila, the founder and creator of For Busy Parents™ and Family Resource Guides, LLC. They have two sons, Nathan and Jonathan, and a dog named Buckeye. |
